nutty chia protein brownies

despite the amount of chia seeds that get stuck in your teeth, these bars are UNREAL. your friends and coworkers will ask you to bring them in every week.

· vegan,gluten free,paleo

the ingredients

the dry

2 tbs chia seeds

¼ cup cashews

2 tbs unsweetened cacao powder

2 tbs shredded coconut

the wet

¼ cup + 1 tbs nut butter

1 cup medjool dates

1 tsp vanilla

1 tsp coconut oil

the extra love

¼ cup chocolate chips (I love Lily's Sweets!)

the process

  • place 1 cup of dates in boiling hot water for 10 mins.

  • blend all ingredients (except chocolate chips) in food processor.
  • spread thick mixture into square loaf pan. sprinkle with tiny dash of salt, the chocolate chips + shredded coconut. 
  • refrigerate for four hours. sliiiiice.
